It's National Peanut Butter Day!

Today is a very special day for the Georgia Grinders family! Did you know that Georgia is the lead producing State of peanuts in the United States?! As the only small batch, handcrafted Georgia-based nut butter company, we are a proud producer of premium peanut butter. As a member of Georgia Grown, all of our peanuts are sourced from local Georgia farmers, and it is our honor to be able to share this delicacy with you! Like all of our other products, there are no added oils or sugars in any of our peanut butters. Beyond the Crunchy and Creamy Peanut Butters, we also sell blends of Pecan Peanut Butter and Cinnamon Vanilla Pecan Peanut Butter; two additional Georgia tributes.

In honor of this exciting day, we are offering a sale on all four of our Peanut Butters & Peanut Butter blends! Use code PEANUTDAY25 on our Creamy Peanut Butter, Crunchy Peanut Butter, Pecan Peanut Butter, and Cinnamon Vanilla Pecan Peanut Butter from now until Monday, 1/27, at midnight. If you make any delectable creations with your new nut butters, remember to tag us on Instagram @georgiagrinders and use the hashtag #fromgroundtogrind. We can't wait to see how you all choose to enjoy these local gems! Remember, coupon codes cannot be combined.

As always, we couldn't leave you hanging without some wholesome recipe inspiration. Check out two recipes below that will help get your creative juices flowing! We've got sweet, we've got savory; what's not to love?!

KUNG PAO CHICKEN WITH SPICY PEANUT SAUCE

Ingredients:

1 cup Coconut Aminos
1/2 cup Rice Wine Vinegar
2 Tbs Sriracha (or more if you need some extra POW!)
2 Tbs Honey
1-2 tsp Red Chili Flakes
2-3 Tbs Peanut Butter
2-3 tsp Fresh Ginger
3-4 cloves Garlic
2-3 Chicken Breasts
Veggies of your choice (peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc.)

Instructions:

1. Put everything besides the chicken in a Vitamix/blender and blend for 30 seconds.
2. Cut the chicken breast into smaller pieces to assemble on the skewers.
3. Marinade the chicken in the Kung Pao sauce overnight.
4. Leave the wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent from burning on the grill.
5. Grill chicken and veggies until they are fully cooked (around 15 minutes).
6. Boil the remainder of marinade for 5 minutes, stirring constantly to thicken and use and dipping sauce.

And because every good meal warrants a delicious dessert afterwards, we are sharing a recipe from our friend Ansley, The Fit Peach, as well. Her Healthy Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies are surely a crowd pleaser in any house. We'll leave a link to her blog here so that you can snag the recipe. Enjoy, friends!

Don't forget to shop the sale on our website on all Peanut Butter products from now until Monday, 1/27, at midnight. Have a wonderful Friday and weekend ahead!

Your Georgia Grinders Family :)
