Almond butter has always been one of those meh substitutes. I've been nuts about peanut butter literally all my life; I can still remember my mother prying the econo-size jar of peanut butter from my grasp as a four year old after I'd gone on a pb bender. Enter Georgia Grinders and their almond butter, and I have converted. I ate a jar in a week. I was so psyched to have found it at a local store, but when they suddenly quit selling it after I devoured my jar I resorted to purchasing online. These pouches are convenient to bring with some apple slices on the go, but also assist with keeping my intake in check. The texture and saltiness make this almond butter perfect with fruits, topping yogurt bowls, in smoothies, and let's be honest, straight out of a pouch/jar. Try making a sandwich with it and a handful of raspberries mashed with honey. It's a game changer.
These are delicious and very convenient for traveling. My husband and I are on the Whole30 and we were able to bring these along for a ski trip. One packet went a long way too!!
